Best Practice:
The Best Practices Adopted by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC):
The challenges arising from globalization, national educational reforms, and recent developments in higher education have made it imperative for institutions to actively engage in the establishment and implementation of quality standards in all important performance areas. ITM Gwalior established the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) on September 25, 2020, to institutionalize the process of ensuring quality education and continuity across all key areas, thereby maintaining its educational standards.
Best Practice 1: Quality Education
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) conducts an Academic and Administrative Audit (AAA) annually of all the departments as a key component of its ongoing efforts to monitor, evaluate, and improve institutional processes. The AAA is designed to assess both academic and administrative functions through structured internal and external reviews, ensuring that all aspects of the institution are aligned with its vision, mission and values. In addition to the Annual Academic Audit, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) also conducts the following three academic audits each semester to enhance the quality of education and ensure comprehensive evaluation and guidance for faculty members throughout the semester. 1. Pre-semester Academic Audit 2. Mid-semester Academic Audit 3. End-semester Academic Audit

Best Practice 2: Quality Initiatives
At ITM Gwalior, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the continuous enhancement of educational quality across the institution. One of the key functions of IQAC is to evaluate the attainment of Program Outcomes (POs) and Course Outcomes (COs), which are crucial in measuring the effectiveness of academic programs and individual courses. These evaluations are instrumental in ensuring that students acquire the requisite knowledge, skills, and competencies outlined in the curriculum, thereby upholding the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement.
