Défi ECO 3.0 – Challenge 2025
The Eco Club, Research Cell, NSS UNIT ITM, in collaboration with the Department of Civil Engineering and NanoTech Foundation, Gwalior, presents Défi ECO 3.0 – Challenge 2025. This initiative focuses on the beautification and treatment of the wastewater channel near Annapurna Mess, with the goal of transforming it into a cleaner and greener space by May 30, 2025.

Défi ECO 2.0 (2023) – Best Out of Waste Competition
The Eco Club, ITM Gwalior successfully organized Défi ECO 2.0, a creative sustainability initiative focused on "Best out of Waste." Themed "Recycle It All, No Matter How Small," the activity encouraged students to craft innovative models using discarded household materials.
Participants worked in teams of two, creating models from items like plastic bottles, caps, newspapers, old magazines, fabric scraps, and other waste materials. The models were prepared at home and demonstrated on December 29, 2023
The event highlighted the importance of recycling and reusing everyday waste, fostering creativity and environmental awareness. The top three models were awarded certificates based on innovation, sustainability, and design.
Through this initiative, students explored practical sustainability solutions while engaging in a fun and educational activity.

Défi ECO 1.0 (2022) – An Engaging Environmental Challenge by Eco Club
The Eco Club at ITM Gwalior successfully organized an in-house activity, Défi ECO, which translates to Eco Challenge (Défi = Challenge in French). The event, themed "In Search of Our Ignored Surroundings," aimed to promote environmental awareness through interactive field activities.
A total of 60 students participated, forming three groups to tackle a series of three time-bound Eco Challenges. Each challenge tested their environmental knowledge, problem-solving skills, and teamwork. The best performers were awarded certificates for their outstanding efforts

RED RIBBON CLUB(RRC)
Red Ribbon Club is a movement started by the Government of India in schools and colleges through which, students spread awareness over HIV / AIDS. The red ribbon is a symbol for both drug prevention and the fight against AIDS.
About the Red Ribbon Club (RRC)
Supported by the Madhya Pradesh State AIDS Control Society, NACO, and the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, the Red Ribbon Club at ITM Gwalior engages students in making meaningful contributions to social health issues. 1. Shakedown Season-1
The inaugural eSports event hosted by Ivento, with a prize pool of ₹2000, which saw over 150 students participating. The event was a grand success, with many more eager students unable to get slots.
2. GitHub Workshop
A free workshop on GitHub, attended by 40-50 students. Despite time constraints, the session covered a wide range of topics to help students build essential version control skills.
3. Shakedown Season-2
The online version of Shakedown, this event attracted gaming enthusiasts from all backgrounds and continued Ivento’s legacy of successful eSports competitions.
4. Battlegrounds Mobile India Event
In collaboration with Trinity Gaming India, this BGMI event attracted players from all over and was a major hit in the eSports community.

Growth Since Inception

Till now more than 700 students have participated in different events conducted by GDSC.

Event Details: TeckTrek’24 - Cyber Security Workshop
DataVibe Network hosted an engaging and informative two-day long workshop on Cyber Security, bringing together students with an interest in the field of digital security and ethical hacking. This workshop aimed to introduce participants to the fundamental concepts and practical skills needed to understand and safeguard against cyber threats.
The session was led by Krishna Goyal, a highly knowledgeable cybersecurity enthusiast from Computer Science Department. With a strong foundation in cyber security principles and practical experience in ethical hacking, Krishna Goyal provided participants with valuable insights into the current cyber security landscape and hands-on skills essential for digital safety.

On the first day of Cyber Security Workshop, Krishna Goyal covered the theoretical concepts essential for the students beginning their journey in this field. These concepts included the following topics:

Event Details: TeckTrek’24 - Ideathon
DataVibe Network succesfully hosted its second event ‘Ideathon’ of TechTrek’24 with the aim to foster creativity among participants. This ideathon served as a platform for students to showcase their innovative ideas, tackle real-world challenges, and present their solutions through engaging presentations.
The teams for this event, each comprising of at most two students, were registered through a google form circulated among first-, second-, and third-year students of all branches. Each team was given an independent time-slot through emails to come up and present their ideas. The presentations were judged by the President and the Vice-President of DataVibe Network, and the winner and the runner-up were decided through the teams’ overall markings.
This event gave complete freedom to the participants in terms of ideas’ themes and topics. Hence, a diverse group of students participated, bringing forth unique ideas spanning various domains such as crime, healthcare, and education.
After around three-hours, the ideathon ended at 1:15 pm. The winner and the runner-up teams for the competition were informed and rewarded with achievement certificates, along with all the participants receiving a participation e-certificate through emails.


Purpose of the Event:
1. Idea Diversity: The ideathon witnessed innovated ideas such as Road Accidents Sensor, Fake Profile Detector, and AI-powered mental assistant.
2. Engaging Presentations: Participants demonstrated impressive presentation skills, using visual and storytelling to communicate their ideas effectively.

Event Details: TeckTrek’24 - Hackathon
DataVibe Network conducted an exciting and high-energy Hackathon as its third and last event of its TechTrek’24 series, bringing together talented students to collaborate, innovate, and solve real-world challenges through coding and technology. The event provided a platform for participants to showcase their technical prowess and problem-solving skills under a competitive yet supportive environment.
The teams for this event were registered through a google form circulated among first-, second-, and third-year students of all branches. Each team consisted of no less three and no more than five members.
The themes for this event included Environment, Crime & Fraud, Education, Day to Day Life Easy Projects (Health, Finance, Groceries, etc.), or any relevant project for the futuristic purpose.
Teams were given four hours, starting from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm to develop their projects. A few teams started building their projects from scratch while others improvised their already existing ones, Throughout the competition, core team from the club provided guidance and technical support to ensure a productive and engaging experience.
Participants were given a break of half an hour before their final presentation which ran from 3:30 pm to 4:50 pm.


Purpose of the Event:
1. Innovative Projects: The Hackathon saw projects tackling disparate real-world challenges. These solutions showcased the participants’ creativity, technical expertise, and understanding of the themes.
2. Collaborative Spirit: Participants demonstrated excellent teamwork and problem-solving abilities as they worked under tight deadlines.
3. Engaging Demo: At the end of the hackathon, each team presented their project to a panel of judges, showcasing not just their technical implementations but also the real-world applicability of their solutions.
Judging:
The judges for this event included President, Vice-President, and Technical Department Lead of the club, along with faculty coordinator Dr. Jitendra Singh Kushwah, Associate Professor of IT Department.

Electoral Literacy Club (ELC):
The Electoral Literacy Club (ELC) at ITM Gwalior is a student-driven initiative established to promote voter awareness, electoral participation, and democratic values among students. The club functions under the guidance of the Election Commission of India (ECI) aims to empower young voters by fostering electoral literacy and civic responsibility.
OBJECTIVES
- To educate students about their electoral rights and responsibilities.
- To encourage active participation in elections and democratic processes.
